PHOTOGRAPHER, VISUAL STORYTELLER & FOUNDER OF VISUAL MARVELRY

VISUAL MARVELRY incorporates four key areas of my practice: Creative direction and commercial portraiture under the banner of STUDIO MARVELRY, my deeper storytelling format STILL STORIES, the new cultural luxury that is THE NEW CHIEFTAINS, and most recently EDITIONS (Launching with HAND.), a growing collection of fine art photography and printed publications.

‘Agenda Brown is the creative protagonist of Visual Marvelry™. Agenda is an artist, a storyteller, and a creator. A generator of visual stories, he possesses a rare ability to capture his subjects in a discerning manner, while evoking empathy and connection with their individual character. As a natural observer he looks for the commonality and differences in all of us.

You will find Agenda at the centre of artists, creatives, and social entrepreneurs. With a cinematographer’s eye for richness, texture and scale, he uses his sitter’s environments to provide authentic context for the emotion he draws from them, bringing their personality alive. As a ‘Cultural Engineer’ Agenda positions his subjects front and centre but also keeps the larger context around them to reflect on the intimate scale they possess against broader humanity. People to Agenda are dynamic, rich, and layered in personality, each sensitive to their own narrative.’

I am proud to have been featured by the legendary SEAN TUCKER in his latest offering “PORTRAITS TO HONOUR PEOPLE” We talked about my particular approach to creating portraits - looking at individual character in the macro and micro, and exploring the limits of what portraits can be within a single frame, as a community of character, and as an unfolding series of details.
